My work has been recognized locally and nationally, including receiving the Send a Teacher Traveling Award and the Herb Kohl Fellowship. I believe deeply in connecting through creativity, leading from the heart, and cultivating spaces where everyone feels seen and safe to create.

Outside the studio, you’ll find me biking, kayaking, collecting crystals, and spending time in nature. During the pandemic, I even taught yoga in my backyard to earn my certification. At age 50, I biked across Italy!
